Come to the playground in the late 50s, there was one person you'd surely see. He ran it and talked trash and mess around, he might make you pay a fee. Talk to him or check him out, you could tell he was more than one of the guys. Talk to him or check him out, you could tell he was more than one of the guys. While shooting that sweet jumper, he'd tell you in your eyes where beauty lies .

Dunbar was a school for the best, the brightest and yes, the gifted While he was there, he put the BBall program on his back and lifted Got to American University where he set records, scored 54 one game and no one denies. With him shooting, in your eyes was where the beauty lies.

He had rep for being a man who knew the whole DC scene, especially the city streets. He played ball, became a helluva recruiter, one that players wanted to meet. When he hung up the playing shoes, coaching was the place where he set his eyes. But ask him to shoot and you would soon know that in your eyes was where the beauty lies.

One of his stops was University of Maryland, where he helped get the big recruits to come. Flashy presentation, getting city kids, even coached UDC to a National Championship run. Though trash talking was his rep, these feats showed that he was good coaching-wise. Not only could he play, but he also coached guys on knowing where the beauty lies.

He may have said a lot of things, as trash talkers do, but he had one killer catch phrase. And, he had a knack for frustrating people in many ways. He was NO DOUBT a legend in DC who imparted things both important and wise Amongst other things like saying “in your eyes where beauty lies!”
